Roof-top terrace, skyline city views and a good dose of sunshine made for the perfect introduction to the flagship restaurant being built at the £165m Victoria Gate shopping centre.
This week, City Buzz was given a first look around Issho, the contemporary Japanese restaurant which opens officially on June 21.
Executive chef, Ben Orpwood has created a modern sharing themed menu but the piece d resistance is an outside terrace to enjoy the Asian menu.
He said: “We’ve been incredibly busy over the past few weeks, working away in the kitchen to put the finishing touches to the menu to make sure it’s perfect.
“It’s been months in the making but the restaurant is taking shape quickly. It’s hard to believe there are just a few weeks left until the doors open but we can’t wait.”
