YORKSHIRE Day is just around the corner – and one Leeds restaurant is raising the bar when it comes to hosting the celebrations.

Tapas restaurant Pintura is marking the occasion by hosting a special pop-up gin bar at Trinity Leeds.

Matt Coates, bar manager at Pintura’s basement gin bar, has put together a one-off menu with Slingsby Gin of Harrogate, Masons Yorkshire Gin and Franklin and Sons tonic water for the restaurant’s new pop-up bar.

Opening on the bridge at Trinity Leeds on Saturday, July 30, shoppers can raise a glass and enjoy a menu of ‘Yorkshire G&Ts’.

The drinks will be served the traditional Spanish way – in a large ‘copa’ wine glass, with a variety of garnishes to complement each individual creation.

Visitors will be in safe hands, as the venue’s basement gin bar boasts more than 100 varieties on its menu, including Pintura’s very own artisan blend Cien, which is made using both Spanish and Yorkshire botanicals.

As a big fan of Pintura’s basement bar, we’ll definitely be stopping off at the pop-up venue at Trinity Leeds to make sure we celebrate Yorkshire Day in style.
