Police trace man suspected of injuring Leeds woman in Harrogate bar

Police have now traced a suspect after a glass was thrown at a young woman in a Harrogate bar.

The woman, who is in her 20s and from north Leeds, was in the Banyan bar on John Street on Saturday night when the incident occurred.

At around 10.30pm she was hit in the face by a pint glass, leaving her with cuts to her face and nose which required hospital treatment.

Harrogate was busy on Saturday night as a charity white collar boxing night was taking place at the Majestic Hotel.

Police released a CCTV appeal and have now identified the man they wish to speak to, but are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
