Police search cordoned off street in Leeds

Police are searching a Leeds street which has been cordoned off, according to reports.

Officers were scouring Devon Road in Woodhouse at around 8pm tonight.

They could be seen walking slowly in an apparent attempt to spot something on the ground.

The cordons are said to be between the junction with Winfield Place and Leicester Place.

There is a separate police cordon in Pasture Road, Harehills, it is understood.

West Yorkshire Police is not yet available for comment.
