Police recovered A £10,000 ring in Leeds today after a man was spotted breaking into cars.

A member of the public reported a man breaking into cars in the south of Leeds this afternoon.

West Yorkshire Police then attended the scene, found and arrested the man.

When they made the arrest, officers recovered a ring worth £10,000, according to an Inspector involved.

Details of the incident have been released as part of West Yorkshire Police's Twitter Day, where officers have shared work they have undertaken using the hashtag #wyp24
