Police in Leeds break up disturbance involving up to 200 youths

Police broke up a street disturbance that reportedly involved as many as 200 youths.

Officers were called to Broad Lane on Saturday evening to deal with the incident, which followed a party at a club.

A police spokesman said the group was “dispersed” along Town Street, with the road being closed for safety reasons.

Arrests were made for assault and public order offences.
