Police called over concerns about person on Leeds motorway bridge

Traffic was diverted away from a motorway bridge in Leeds after concerns were raised over a person's safety.

Police attended the bridge over the M621 at Top Moor Side in Holbeck on Thursday morning when a person was spotted there.

Buses were diverted during the incident.

Police have now confirmed that the person was safely escorted down from the bridge.
