The Black Vauxhall Astra came off the road and careered through a wrought iron fence, smashing both the metal and the stone wall underneath - and leaving debris strewn across the play area.

The car dropped around 18 inches from the pavement and into the lowered play area of St Matthias Primary School in Burley, this morning.
