Directed by Louise Denison with musical direction by Jim Lunt, the rock opera is a timeless piece of theatre which takes place during the final week of Jesus’s life and follows the events which led to his betrayal by Judas Iscariot and ultimately his crucifixion.

The production at Theatre Royal Wakefield features all the songs that made this show so famous including I Don’t Know How To Love Him, King Herod’s Song, Gethsemane and of course Jesus Christ Superstar.

It runs until Saturday, September 10. Tickets: 01924 211 311.
