Kirkstall Road incident: Firefighters tackle blaze near popular Leeds 5-a-side football venue Goals

Appliances from across West Yorkshire were called to the scene on Redcote Lane just after 2.30pm this afternoon.

Firefighters from Moortown, Hunslet, Morley, Stanningley, Aerial from Leeds with support from Cookridge responded to the call.

Three pumps were initially mobilised by control due to the nature of calls but this was increased to five pumps and one aerial on arrival.

Building 70m x 50m, two large jets & six breathing apparatus were also used.
