Pedestrian struck by vehicle outside Leeds hotel

There are delays on a city centre road this afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

The accident happened outside the Ibis Hotel on Crown Point Road at 4pm, and the southbound carriageway is currently blocked in the direction of Crown Point Bridge.

A man in his forties has been injured.

Police and ambulance are currently at the scene.

Buses towards Leeds Dock and Middleton have diverted via Duke Street, Marsh Lane and East Street.
