The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund got in the festive spirit as they hosted a Christmas party for over 200 children.

The Leeds charity held the event at the Royal Armouries and as well as plenty of entertainment, games and activities, there was also a special appearance from Father Christmas himself.

The day was made possible thanks to health and wellbeing provider Benenden, who sponsored the party event. All the youngsters who attended have undergone heart surgery.

Sharon Coyle, CEO at the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, said:

“Our Christmas event is hugely important as it allows us to host a special day for many children.”
