Four adrenaline junkies made the jump in total darkness over La Palma in the Canary islands where the sky is considered the cleanest in the Northern Hemisphere.

Jokke Sommer, Armando del Rey, Marco Waltenspiel and Georg Lettner jumped during the Perseids also called “tears of Saint Lawrence”, a prolific meteor shower usually peaking in mid-August. The stunning visuals were caused by Perseids – a stream of debris stretching along the orbit of the comet Swift–Tuttle and their LED wingsuits. Jokke said the experience was amazing, he added: “It literally felt like I was in a videogame.
