the ANA 787 may not have made the Kessel Run in less than 2 parsecs, but it did safely deliver the stars of the most anticipated film of all time to Gatwick Airport ahead of the largest European movie premiere ever.

Stars including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and John Boyega travelled aboard the blue and white plane from LA, and were accompanied by a normal-sized version of beloved astromech droid R2D2. Also on board was creator George Lucas as well as the director of the newest film, J J Abrams. The plane landed at the airport in Crawley at just after 8am - eight hours before the Leicester Square premiere kicked off.
