Audrey’s Fish and Chip Shop in Bridlington, East Yorks., is cooking up deep-fried Christmas pudding and battered parsnips in the run-up to December 25.
Following Scotland’s famous battered Mars Bar, the imaginative chip shop is taking this year’s annual festivities to the next level. The chippy’s inventive fryer, Tina Mitchell, said: “The parsnips look really quite nice. It’s just a little something we’ve done for Christmas. “It’s quite an easy job to make them, it’s not a lengthy process and they don’t take too long at all.
