This cheeky mouse starts its Easter celebrations early and tucks into the chocolate display of an Oxford Street bookshop.

The little grey rodent sneaked out while the huge Waterstones was closed and helped itself in the front window. It was spotted by a bus driver on her way to work at 5.30 on Saturday morning. She said: “First I thought it was a toy - but then it moved. The shop was closed and so there was nobody there to report it to.” Waterstones Oxford Street Plaza have been approached for comment.
