Best man Danny McKenzie astounded his crowd as he pulled off an amazing speech without saying a single word.

The 37-year-old knew he had to step up top the mark when he was chosen to deliver the crucial speech for his childhood friend and football star Jamie Mulligan. The wedding party of Jamie, 36, who used to play for Everton, Blackpool and Fleetwood, and his new bride Mandy, were in hysterics as they watched car salesman Danny on video as he ran back to his house to recover his “forgotten” speech - encountering a few familiar mishaps along the way. The video followed Danny as he ran from the room of the venue, The Villa, in the village of Wrea Green, Lancs, to his home in St Annes some five miles away.
