Paul Wilmott, 63, was killed when his home was obliterated by a gas explosion on Feb 19 at around 7.30am - and residents are still shell-shocked by the incident. City of York Councillor Tony Richardson, who visited the Springwood street in Haxby, North Yorks., on Thursday (March 17) confirmed that the Snowdons - whose house was demolished by a digger - were “devastated”. Speaking about Timothy and Joanne, a resident in the street, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “I don’t know them directly - but I know it’s Tim and Joanne Snowdon’s house that has been demolished.
