Daredevils are being urged to unleash their inner superhero to help raise money for a first aid charity.
St John Ambulance is urging fundraisers to reach for the skies to help raise money to support its lifesaving work.
Adrenaline-junkies are being asked to take part in a Superhero Skydive in June - and for those who like to keep their feet on the ground there will be a Superhero Stroll in September.
Money raised from the fundraising drive will help the charity continue to save lives and teach members of the public essential first aid skills.
Siobhan Sargeant, regional fundraising co-ordinator for the North east, said: “Anyone who has ever dreamed of flying like a superhero, and experiencing the thrill of the wind in their hair and the view from above should sign up.
“You will have an unforgettable experience and people in your community, and communities across the country, will benefit as a result.
“At St John Ambulance we believe nothing is more tragic than a life lost needlessly .
“That’s why we’re dedicated to equipping as many people as possible with the skills to be the difference between life and death.”
