Reality TV toff Spencer Matthews travelled up from London to test his skills on a new electric unicycle in Wakefield.

The Made in Chelsea star was in town to visit YESSS Electrical, an online distributor for the new Airwheel Q5 - an electric, self-balancing unicycle, dubbed the world’s latest zero emission commuting gadget. Professional riders Holly and Alan Judd were also at the event to give the celebrity Airwheel fan a masterclass and help onlookers get up to speed with the new technology.

Speaking at the launch, Spencer said: “The Airwheel is a great gadget that gets me from A to B in no time. I’m really pleased that YESSS Electrical is stocking the Q5 – it’s great for beginners as it’s more stable but still as quick and nimble as other models. I hope to see more and more people out and about riding their Airwheels very soon.

“I’m also giving away two free tickets with every Airwheel sold, to join me with a friend of your choice, so we can party together in a cool club in Chelsea.”

The RRP for the Airwheel Q5 is £699.
