The Site developer for an £80million regeneration for the Tower Works site has appointed an engineering consultant.

The company, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, will provide multi-disciplinary services, including civil and structural engineering, for the scheme in Holbeck Urban Village in Leeds.

The scheme aims to regenerate Leeds South Bank with 147 residential units, commercial office space, retail, restaurant and bar spaces.

Plans include preserving the historic architecture on site, including three Grade II listed towers modelled on the Renaissance towers in Italy which give the site its name.

Work on the development will start next year and expect to finish in December 2017.
