OLYMPIC cycling star Katy Marchant turned out to lend her support to the opening of a new women-only gym in Garforth.

Katy was a special guest at the launch of the Gymophobics fitness centre on Main Street on Monday.

The gym is offering 30-minute resisted tension circuit workouts to help inch and weight loss. Free dietary advice is also available to its users.

Gymophobics has around 40 centres nationwide but the Garforth facility will be its first franchise in Leeds.

The gym has been set up by Adele Ewen, who previously worked as a fitness instructor for Gymophobics.

Adele told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We are looking forward to achieving some great results with our members in Garforth.”

For further information about the gym, visit the www.gymophobics.co.uk website or ring 0113 345 1919.
