A MOTHER and baby were hurt in a two car crash in Bramley this afternoon.

A VW Golf and a Fiat Punto were involved in a collision on Outgang Lane just before 3.30pm.

Fire crews from Stanningley and Leeds cut the driver’s door from the Punto to free the 25-year-old woman driver, who suffered suspected neck and stomach injuries.

The baby suffered a suspected bruised neck.

Richard Lightowler, watch manager at Stanningley Fire Station, said the mother and baby were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The man who was driving the Golf and his female passenger were uninjured.
