MoRunning is back in Leeds - '˜tache up and dash for cash this November

Thousands are gearing up to 'stache and dash next month for the annual MoRun in Leeds.

The eighth annual 5k and 10k races will draw thousands of MoBros and MoSistas to don their best fancy dress and moustaches to raise money for men’s health. The race will take place Saturday November 5 in Temple Newsam in Leeds.

Tickets for the 5k entry will cost £18 and £22 for the 10k. The cash from the fancy dress dash will support the Movember Foundation in an effort to meet its national fundraising goal of £100,000 to help tackle men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

The organisation has already raised £10,054.46 of its target. MoRunning will hold 17 events across the UK and Ireland including Newcastle, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton, Nottingham, Greenwich London, Batter Sea Park, Cardiff, Milton Keynes and Swinley Forest.

Dave Krangel, Founder of MoRunning, said: “To be a MoRunner means you are part of something bigger than yourself, you’re part of a community, a family and a team.

“We encourage all of our participants to have fun during their run because that’s what we’re all about; dressing
up, enjoying yourself and crossing the finishing line with a smile. We even have prizes for the best dressed MoRunner.”

Runners will receive a race chip for timing and instant race results along with a MoRunning medal amongst other freebies.

The moustache dash kicks off at 10am and runners can buy tickets at https://www.mo-running.com/leeds or can register at 8.30am on the day of the race.
