Police are investigating after discovering more than 100 cannabis plants at a flat in Horsforth, Leeds, today

Suspicions arose following a report of a water leak from the flat above, which then resulted in officers discovering the plants.

A Facebook post from West Yorkshire Police said: “Whilst working at the address, two Special Constables became suspicious about two occupants of a passing vehicle that appeared to be taking a bit of an interest in the police activity in the area.

“The officers quickly followed the vehicle and stopped it on the main road nearby. Subsequent questioning and a search by the officers provided evidence to link the two.”
