Missing woman believed to be sleeping rough in Leeds is found by police


Police in Leeds have thanked the public for their help after missing woman Emma Vaughan was found safe and well.

Officers issued an appeal after Emma, 28, of Leeds, was last seen in Garforth on May 22.

She was believed to be sleeping rough in the Leeds area.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Emma Vaughan, who was the subject of a previous missing persons appeal, has been found safe and well.

“We are grateful to everyone who assisted in sharing the appeal for information and who rang in with information.”
