A fundraising Rothwell runner has completed a mammoth challenge that has seen him run 10 marathons in a year.

Matthew Haythornthwaite, 22, is aiming to raise £10,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice and Brain Tumour Research and Support in memory of his late father.

Having completed his last marathon in Eindhoven, he has arranged a charity ball at the Marriott Hotel, Leeds, on October 23. Visit justgiving.com/10marathonschallenge.
