Man stabbed in daylight attack in Leeds

A man has been stabbed in a daylight attack on a Leeds estate.

The 23-year-old suffered knife wounds to his leg and hands in the incident on South Farm Road in Gipton yesterday afternoon.

Police were called at about 3.55pm following reports that he had been cycling when he was attacked by two men.

The victim’s BMX bike and a quantitiy of cash were stolen, and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

One of the men was described as white, 6ft, skinny and wearing a white jacket and blue jeans.
