A 21-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after falling out of a second floor window in Leeds.

Police went to the property on Hessle Terrace, Hyde Park, at about 3.15pm on Monday after receiving a call which raised concerns for the man’s welfare.

Detective Inspector Paul Hobson, of Leeds District CID, said: “Officers called at the address but got no reply. While they were outside the property the man fell from a window to the street below. The 21-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries and is currently in a critical but stable condition.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
