Man, 50, arrested in Morley after alleged knife attack

A 50-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly attacking another man with a knife in Morley today.

Police were called to the scene in Queen Street at around 3.10pm following the incident, after which a man in his 40s was taken to hospital for a minor injury to his arm believed to have been caused by a knife.

Detective Sergeant Andy Cass, of Leeds District CID, said: “Enquiries are ongoing into this incident which is believed to have taken place outside the rear of a public house on Queen Street.

“Anyone who saw what happened or has information is asked to contact Leeds District CID on 101. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
