Making a Murderer story comes to Leeds

Tickets have gone on sale this morning for a stage show inspired by an American television hit sensation.

‘Making a Murderer’, a ten-part docuseries being shown on Netflix, is coming to Leeds Town Hall in the new year.

Attorneys Dean Strang and Jerry Buting are two of the show’s most compelling stars and they will participate in an evening of conversation regarding the operations of the American criminal justice system.

They will also take part in a discussion on the broader implications of the Steven Avery case upon which the ‘Making a Murderer’ series which first aired in December, is founded.

Avery was exonerated after two decades behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit, but shortly after was convicted of murdering a photographer.

The event is on January 26 2017, doors open at 7.30pm.
