Pop princess Michelle Heaton has teamed up with a Leeds pub to find the UK’s most inspiring children.

The Liberty X star is joining the Lawnswood Arms on Otley Road for the ‘Little Heroes’ competition, which aims to find inspiring youngsters who have done something extraordinary, from displaying remarkable courage to raising money for charity.

Finalists will go head to head in a Facebook vote to win £1,000 and Michelle will have the deciding vote.

She said: “So many children are faced with tough situations, act older than their years, or simply have a heart of gold – and this is a fantastic way to finally recognise and reward them.”

To nominate a child for the competition, visit www.fayre-square.co.uk. Entries close on Friday, August 2.
