A Creative work space in Leeds is in the running be one of Britain’s top places to work.

Duke Studios, located within the South Bank development, is the only Yorkshire-based company to be shortlisted in their category for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The co-working space on Sheaf Street, boasts design studios, a communal outdoor garden area with its own bar and workshop, themed meeting rooms and a cafeteria.

The project was set up by Laura Wellington, 31, and James Abbott Donnelly, 33, in July 2015 with the aim of helping small businesses get ahead. The couple hope to pick up the Entrepreneurial Co-Working Space of the Year award at the ceremony in London tonight.

Laura said: “We’re both so incredibly proud to have been nominated for such a prestigious award.”
