Leeds woman, 83, hurt in crash

An 83-years-old Leeds woman was seriously injured when the car in which she was a passenger crashed into a wall.

A car was being driven on the A629 Keighley to Skipton road near its junction with Cononley Lane Ends at 2.30 pm on Tuesday when it left the road and hit a wall.

The driver escaped unhurt.

The woman was taken to Airedale General Hospital at Keighley.
