Leeds teenager completes training with Royal Marines

Proud Leeds teenager Stefan Mannion has been awarded a coveted green beret after finishing his training with the Royal Marines.

Stefan, 18, from Whitkirk, was the youngest of the 19 recruits who completed the punishing 32-week course at the Marines’ training school at Lympstone in Devon.

He is a former pupil of Temple Moor High School Science College and Templenewsam Halton Primary School.
