Fundraisers from Leeds joined npower staff from across the country to hike up thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The workers cycled, canoed and hiked their way across Scotland covering over 100 miles to raise £21,498 for the charity.

Stephanie Austin, Mike Wilkinson, Thomas Walker and Tatiana Waldykowska, from npower’s offices in Leeds, joined 39 colleagues from across the UK.

The three day challenge began with a hike from sea level to the top of Ben Nevis - the highest point of Britain - with the final stretch leading to Inverness, pushing through Moray Firth and finishing at Inverness Castle.
