When you think of student digs it doesn’t normally conjure up images of a home cinema, sauna, games room, epygtian cotton king size bed, complimentary breakfast and a 24 hour concierge.

But that is what is on offer at the most luxurious student accommodation in the city, The Glassworks, a £19m six storey development featuring 150 extravagant apartments.

Each luxury apartment includes plush 1,000 pocket sprung double or king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, flat screen smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi and bills included.

Residents don’t even need to carry their own shopping as there is a 24-hour concierge to do it for them and there is no need to order a student pizza for breakfast as there is complimentary breakfast and a fully equipped pantry comes with sandwiches, ready meals, drinks, snacks and ice cream.

On the off chance the city’s freshers find time to fit some work in the development also has a specially fitted Mac Zone , so whether studying for exams, writing essays, surfing the web or streaming a favourite show, tenants can do it from state of the art MacBook’s.

The development at Cardigan Road, Headingley is from IconInc which is aiming to revolutionise student accommodation following its success with The Edge.

Apartments start at £149 per week and go up to £230 per week for a grande apartment.
