Attractions included a 1940s live band, dancers and a vintage street party.

Lotherton Hall was a convalescent hospital in Leeds during the First World War and was donated to Leeds by the Gascoigne family in the 1960s.

Temple Newsam House and Gledhow Hall were also used in this way during the war.
