Leeds sex assault: Police release CCTV image

Police today released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with following a serious sex assault in Leeds.

A 21-year-old woman was attacked at an address on Woodsley Road in Hyde Park between 2am and 4am on Wednesday, February 3.

Detectives investigating the assault are looking for a man in his early 20s, with short dark hair worn in a "messy" style. He is of slim build with "delicate" features and has a local accent.

West Yorkshire Police's Detective Inspector Mark Gaunt said: "As you would expect, the victim of this offence is distressed by the incident.

"Both she and we are very keen to trace the man in the photograph to progress the inquiry. We would like him to come forward."
