The second annual Leeds Rum Festival returns to the Corn Exchange on September 23 and 24.

Samantha Fish, operations manager for famed Leeds bar Mojo has teamed back up with Dan Crowther of The Hedonist Project, to celebrate the drink they are both passionate about.

Ms Fish said: “Rum is the most diverse spirit category in the world. The way that it’s made varies massively from country to country. Dan and I believe this should be celebrated. Last year’s was a roaring success and 2017 is set to be even better.”

This year there will be over 80 rum expressions, and several masterclasses including a special cocktail masterclass with Re’al cocktail ingredients. All rum samples and the masterclasses are free with the ticket price.

“We were the first Rum Festival in Leeds,” she continued.

“And now we are the only one that offers all free samples.”

The event will run from 12pm to 5pm on both days.

Standard Entry – including access to master classes and free samples, will be £13.33 and VIP Entry – including all of the above plus a cocktail on arrival -is £17.58

Tickets are available from Eventbrite.com. Advance booking is advised.
