Hundreds of youngsters took to the stage to showcase their musical talents.

Schools from across the Chevin Learning Partnership came together for their first joint event, at Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Otley, which featured solo and group performances from pupils.

Children from Ashfield Primary, All Saints C of E Primary, Westgate Primary, The Whartons Primary, Bramhope Primary and St Joseph’s Primary joined students from Prince Henry’s.

Ian Thompson-Smith. headteacher at Otley All Saints C of E, said: “As well as the absolute pleasure of playing and performing, music gives children skills and confidence which they will use for the rest of their lives.”
