Burglary victims in Leeds are being invited to view photo albums of stolen goods recovered by police to see if their items are among them.

Photographs of hundreds of items of jewellery have been passed to detectives following the recovery of items by Greater Manchester Police.

The albums will be available to view at Weetwood Police Station from Monday, each day from 8am to 8pm.

Detective Sergeant Rob Stabler, of Leeds District CID, said: “The photos are of hundreds of items of jewellery mainly, although there other some other goods.

“A lot of the items are very distinctive and we are focusing the invite on people who have been the victims of burglaries or home robberies over the last year.”
