OLYMPIC hopeful Alicia Blagg is set to make a splash in Rio this year.
The 19-year-old diver from Wakefield will join Becky Gallantree as they head to the summer spectacular to battle it out in the women’s synchronised diving event.
Alicia became the England’s youngest ever double national champion when she won both the one-metre springboard and three-metre synchronised titles in the British championships in 2010.
She was then selected to represent Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics with Becky Gallantree, where they came seventh.
The pair also won bronze in the 2013 European Championships.
In 2014, Alicia took home a gold medal during the Commonwealth Games.
She went on to appear at her third World Championships in 2015.
