A customised motorbike owned by a south Leeds clothing boss has hit top gear at a national competition.

The Triumph Bonneville T100 owned by Simon Brown, managing director of Holbeck-based online clothing company Joe Browns, was recognised for its “unusual custom design” in a contest celebrating 25 years of Hinckley Triumph.

The bike, known as the ‘Red Devil’, was chosen from more than 200 machines as one of the 10 best Triumph models in the UK. Mr Brown said: “We all love the bike, but it’s great to hear so many other people do too. The design was really important to us.”

He will go to a presentation and tour of the Hinckley home of Triumph later in the year.
