Millennium square was the hottest ticket in town this weekend as food lovers descended for a celebration of curry.

During what was a cool couple of days, there was plenty to warm the heart – and the stomach – as more than 50 stalls were set up for the Leeds Curry Festival. Visitors had the chance to sample dishes from around the world, along with arts, crafts, fashion and entertainment.

Hundreds attended the event, which also saw professional chefs take to the stage to demonstrate their art.

Stage acts included dhol drummers, Trishool Dance Academy and the Foxwood Steel band.
