Leeds man died of natural causes

A man who died in hospital shortly after being found collapsed on a sub-zero pavement at the weekend died from natural causes.

The man has been named as Carl David Kilburn, 45, a single man of Goosefield Rise, Garforth, who lived with his parents.

He is understood to have been suffering from a pre-existing medical condition which may not have been helped by the cold conditions in Barley Hill Road, Garforth, where he was found by passers-by about 11.30 on Sunday night.

Mr Kilburn is understood to have been found with a minor head injuries which could have been caused by falling, and police stressed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the matter has been passed to the Coroner.
