Leeds United Ladies football team officially opened a new-look Costcutter store in the city with a football skills session.
The new store, which also welcomed Rev Matthew Peat and his choir as special guests, is only the second new look Costcutter store to open in the UK.
The store opening on Selby Road, featuring new branding and store design, has created 12 new jobs.
The event on Saturday also featured face painting and food tasting.
Simon Shaw, Costcutter Supermarkets group director of company owned stores, said: “The new-look store has been designed to meet the needs of the local community and to offer not just the products they want, but a fantastic shopping experience.”
