A new venue for dinner, drinks and dancing is hot footing it to Leeds later this year from over the Pennines.
The Leeds chain of ‘Neighbourhood’ will be the third in the brand from Manchester based East Coast Concepts, which already has the New York themed restaurants in Manchester and Liverpool.
More than £1.7m has been spent on revamping the interior at what was the Carluccio’s unit in the centre of busy Greek Street thanks to restaurant and bar designer of the year Edwin Pickett.
During the day, Neighbourhood will serve lunches, dinner, weekend menus, Sunday roasts, tapas, sushi and seafood and grill dishes.
By night it is hoping to become the go to party place having attracted celebrity clientele at the Liverpool and Manchester venues.
It is set to host weekly themed events and monthly champagne brunch parties with DJs, performances and live entertainment.
Neighbourhood Manchester opened in 2012 and the second location in Liverpool opened in November last year.
James Hitchen, CEO and Founder of East Coast Concepts, the company that created Neighbourhood, said: “Our mission is to create the best parties in the city – the nights that make memories that stay with you forever.
“We want every night in Neighbourhood to feel like a once in a lifetime experience – but with the chance to do it all over again the next night.
‘We’ve been planning to open in Leeds for a while and now feels like exactly the right time – there’s nothing else like it in the city and we can’t wait to throw an unforgettable party for everyone here.”
