Leeds homeless charity's book nets £7.000

A LEEDS city centre charity is celebrating after a book which tells first hand stories of homeless people raised £7.000.

St George’s Crypt’s book Entertaining More Angels was written by people involved in running the charity and those helped by it.

The book, which is available from Waterstones and St George’s Crypt directly, has so far raised over £7,000 with all proceeds going to the charity.

Leeds College of Art staff and students helped create the book. Edward Ryder, from creative agency Biskit who designed and printed the book, said: “We’re thrilled to see how much the book has already raised for St George’s Crypt and we hope this continues to rise.” For more details, visit www.stgeorgescrypt.org.uk
