Revellers keen to rock around the clock at this year’s Leeds Festival won’t be short of late-night entertainment.
Transgressive Records will again be taking charge of an after-hours line-up on the event’s Alternative Stage, it was announced today.
Starting at 9.30pm and running until late, the programme for Saturday and Sunday at Leeds includes rock band Fat White Family, fast-rising hip-hop star Loyle Carner and soul-tinged synth pop duo Honne.
There will be sets from Bless DJs and the Transgressive Sound System DJs while fans will also be treated to what promises to be a typically frenetic appearance by Super Hans, from TV comedy Peep Show.
Transgressive co-founder Toby L said: “Every year the Transgressive Takeover at [sister events] Reading and Leeds gets bigger and bigger and it’s such a joy to return once again in 2016.”
Leeds Festival is taking place as usual this year at Bramham Park, near Wetherby, over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Acts playing its Main Stage include Biffy Clyro, Foals, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Vaccines and Courteeners.
Weekend and day tickets remain available, visit the www.leedsfestival.com website for further information.
